I am awake now, managed a bloodless shave.\u00a0 Always nice when there is no morning blood letting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Daily Bread<\/a>, a daily devotional I use (started reading in a paper form while in prison, now online, and they’ve just recently discontinued the paper version which I think is unfortunate as prisoners don’t have access to the Internet), had these verses for me to read this morning:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

John 1:1-9<\/span>King James Version (KJV)<\/span><\/h1>\n

1\u00a0<\/span>In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.<\/span><\/p>\n

2\u00a0<\/sup>The same was in the beginning with God.<\/span><\/p>\n

3\u00a0<\/sup>All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.<\/span><\/p>\n

4\u00a0<\/sup>In him was life; and the life was the light of men.<\/span><\/p>\n

5\u00a0<\/sup>And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.<\/span><\/p>\n

6\u00a0<\/sup>There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.<\/span><\/p>\n

7\u00a0<\/sup>The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.<\/span><\/p>\n

8\u00a0<\/sup>He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.<\/span><\/p>\n

9\u00a0<\/sup>That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Verse 3 is one of the reasons I have problems with creationists who believe that anything they can’t explain, dinosaurs, aliens, are made by Satan to deceive us, are wrong because the Bible is very clear on this point, All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.\u00a0 The dinosaurs, aliens, not anything was made by Satan.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
