font-size: 10pt; color: #000080;\">\u00a0\u00a0 And who can&#8217;t identify with this?\u00a0 Everybody likes to think the other persons sins are greater.\u00a0 This is one of Satan&#8217;s favorite lies.\u00a0 I find it easy to be judgemental of others even though my own sins are great.\u00a0 Remembering when God lifted a huge burden off of my shoulders with his forgiveness helps me remember it isn&#8217;t my role to judge others, but God&#8217;s.\u00a0 That&#8217;s not always easy as my nature tends to be rather cynical and intolerant at times, actually more often than not, especially when it comes to people in positions of authority.\u00a0 And I know this isn&#8217;t right but it&#8217;s a constant struggle I deal with.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"version-KJV result-text-style-normal text-html \">\n<h1 class=\"passage-display\"><span style=\"font-size: 20pt;\"><span class=\"passage-display-bcv\">Luke 18:9-14<\/span><span class=\"passage-display-version\">King James Version (KJV)<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span id=\"en-KJV-25698\" class=\"text Luke-18-9\" style=\"color: #800000;\"><sup class=\"versenum\">9\u00a0<\/sup>And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-KJV-25699\" class=\"text Luke-18-10\" style=\"color: #800000;\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10\u00a0<\/sup>Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-KJV-25700\" class=\"text Luke-18-11\" style=\"color: #800000;\"><sup class=\"versenum\">11\u00a0<\/sup>The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-KJV-25701\" class=\"text Luke-18-12\" style=\"color: #800000;\"><sup class=\"versenum\">12\u00a0<\/sup>I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-KJV-25702\" class=\"text Luke-18-13\" style=\"color: #800000;\"><sup class=\"versenum\">13\u00a0<\/sup>And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-KJV-25703\" class=\"text Luke-18-14\" style=\"color: #800000;\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14\u00a0<\/sup>I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased;
