Subject: Quick news items

Sound bites:

October 5 marked the return of Paul Merton in the newest season of
"Have I Got News For You".

Forget what I said last time. Due to a late programming change, the
new episode of "Space Ghost Coast-To-Coast" with Matt Groening will
premiere on October 9. This is the first "to be continued" episode,
as Moltar escapes on a bus to Jacksonville.

Local news:

Festival Hong Kong at the Varsity: On October 10, "The New Legend of
Shaolin" and "The Bride With White Hair". Call 206-632-3131 for
showtimes. (Also, on October 18, two great films from this year's
Film Festival: "Welcome to the Dollhouse" and "I Shot Andy Warhol".)

Randy Rogel, Guest of Honor at Anglicon 8, will be appearing at the
5th Avenue Musical Theatre Company in "Me & My Girl" (10/15 - 11/03)
and "Singin' in the Rain" (12/03 - 12/22). For info, call
	206-625-1900, or check out "http://www.speakeasy.org/5thavenue".

There will be an "X Files" Creation convention product in Bellevue
on October 13th at Meydenbauer Center (1110 NE 6th. St). Mitch
Pileggi [Skinner] will be there. The tickets will be sold through
the mail by Pearl Jam. Um, not really.

Miscellany:

How about a Shockwave game that allows users to trade punches with
the likes of David Letterman, Tori Spelling, and Mister Rogers?

Subject: BOO! The Androgums' October gathering
From: Eric Gjovaag

It's coming soon! In only days! For the fifth year in a row, the Emerald
City Androgums will celebrate Who-loween! This year, it will be on
October 12, and we'll show three theme-related "Doctor Who" tales, "State
of Decay," "The Awakening," and "Ghost Light." We'll also have the
traditional Androgum potluck (bring a side dish, dessert, salad, drink, or
snack to share), Halloween candy, and...

   THE ANNUAL ANDROGUM COSTUME SHOW!

Door prizes will be given for everyone attending who is wearing a "Doctor
Who" costume (be creative).

And Who knows what else will happen? Be prepared!
