  • I'm currently reading One for the Money by Janet Evanovich. Next in line will be a book by a friend of mine, Pam Grim, called Just Here Trying to Save a Few Lives: Tales of Life and Death from the ER.
  • Current Computer Interests

  • I've been playing entirely too many hours of a D&D game called Baldur's Gate and will probably be playing even more when I buy Baldur's Gate II... We also had cable internet access installed recently and I managed to install a LAN to connect the computers in the house.

    Biographical Information

I was born in Iowa in 1951 and grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I went to college at the University of Northern Iowa from 1969 to 1976 (majors in Teaching English, Teaching History, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language).

Extensive travel experience including 18 months around the world at age 21-22. Other trips since then to Europe, Africa, Mexico, South America, Southeast Asia, etc. Due to a moral decision I haven't driven a car since 1972. That might change. Rode a bicycle from Iowa to Seattle and back to Iowa in 1974. Currently working as the Executive Assistant for the Chief Operating Officer at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.

Married Paula Rodriguez in 1993 and am step-father to Jennifer (currently living in Chile) and Nicole (currently living in Switzerland). Home life includes 8 cats...
