They are your possible future. Don't screw things up; if you do things right, you could end up with a great starting line-up in a few years, but you need to do it right. The important thing is to make sure that you don't get too good too fast. To put it more bluntly, you need to really suck for at least three years to ensure yourself some choice draft picks. How do you do this? Well, you must make sure that team chemistry stinks. Move lots of guys in and out rapidly. That helps. It's also good to try to ice one of your top draft picks for almost a full year. Milwaukee, you were almost there, but you blew it. Now the real key is that last year of basement-level play. Only a truly horrible coach will do that for you. Dallas went out and got Quinn Buckner, a man who force a completely inappropriate offense on his team and used draconian tactics in practices as well as games. This is not the only choice, but it's a good one. There are plenty of truly horrible coaches out there with experience. Try and get Brian Hill or Alan Bristow in a year or two. So Wolves, just make sure that all those hotheads keep in-fighting. Pistons, get rid of Dumars--he's too good. Bullets, you're definitely on the right track; except that Scott Skiles likes to win too much. And Bucks, well, you only have a couple years left. Just pray that Big Dog and Vin Baker don't mesh like everyone hopes. And get rid of Dunleavy, he's a class act. Trube
