At a press conference early this week, it was announced that (hold your breath, this is stunning): The Sacramento Kings have signed Randy Breuer. The Kings were evidently upset at losing out on Joe Kleine (messed up their "Once and Future King" marketing campaign), Chuck Nevitt, and Dwayne Schintzius. Breuer was the most prominent big white stiff still available, as he was the player on whom the NBA logo was based. The best part will be watching Breuer and Duane Causwell go at each other in practice. Unfortunately, Kings' practices are not televised. Breuer's father also had to agree to a clause which stated he will not write letters to Sacramento newspapers complaining about the horrible coaching of Garry St. Jean. This so called "Musselman Clause" has drawn much media scrutiny, and the NBA Players Dads Association is considering a lawsuit based on First Amendment rights. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | Bob "The Glide" Davis Recently measured at .3 centiJordans | | rbd@flash.ece.uc.edu President, Clarence Weatherspoon Fan Club | ------------------------------------------------------------------------
