[This is from what I saw and the notes I took.  Please excuse
spelling, grammatical, and typing errors as I haven't been
getting much sleep and I am trying to type in as many summaries
as I can.  Times listed indicates time _left_ in the quarter,
half, game and/or overtime.  I am assuming that you know who
plays for which team and I sometime abbreviate teams' names to
two or three letters.  I'm going to use present tense even though
the games are over because I think present tense shows more of
the emotion and I don't have to convert my notes.  Comments,
questions, suggestions, and praise welcomed.]

Indiana Pacers vs New York Knicks in New York

1st Quarter:
Ewing drives and misses.  Pacer miss.  Ewing again in the paint,
but makes it this time.  Nice pass from Schrempf to Smits who
scores on the outside jumper.  Not much offensive action. 
Several misses and turnovers.  Schrempf with a nice drive and is
fouled by Ewing, 1 of 2.  More misses and turnovers.  Miller hits
the 3.  C Smith lays it in nicely.  6-4 Ind 8:02.  these teams
can't hit.  Nice running jumper to the basket by Flemming.  C
Smith answers with 2.  8-6 Ind 6:43.  Beauti move by Ewing in the
paint in a crowd for the lay in.  Smits scores.  Ewing again with
a move in the paint and a basket.  A block by Ewing, save by
Oakley, but NY misses.  Miller is fouled driving and gets the
basket.  Makes the freebie.  Starks finds a hole in the paint for
2.  Flemming with 2.  An offensive foul on C Smith - 2nd foul. 
Another block by Ewing.  A steal by Starks who passes to a
breaking Oakley and the easy 2.  D Davis scores.  17-14 Ind 2:55. 
NY called for their 2nd illegal 3, but Miller misses the extra. 
Schrempf dishes to Smits who scores.  Flemming is limping and
heads to the locker room - turned out to be a groin pull. 
Schrempf hits the outside shot at the 24 sec buzzer.  21-14 Ind
1:25.  Blackman cans his shot - catch and shoot off a screen. 
Miller blocks a pass and is given the ball while breaking, gets
the basket and the foul.  A Ewing miss leads to an Ind break of 3
on 1 and the easy 2.  Ewing jams it home.  End of quarter.  26-18
Ind.

2nd Quarter:
Both teams open missing.  McCloud nails the open jumper.  Ewing
has a nice bank shot.  Nice passing by Pacers, but they miss the
shot.  Starks knocks down the 3.  The crowd is chanting.  3rd
illegal D on Knicks.  29-23 Ind 9:52.  Smits shoots over C Smith,
nails the 2 and is fouled, but misses the free throw.  Starks
misses, Miller cans the 3, NY turnover, McCloud gets the lucky
bounce and roll.  Timeout.  36-23 Ind 8:09.  Ewing has a nice
move and a one-handed jumper.  Smits fakes and Ewing fouls - his
3rd.  2 of 2.  Ewing gets a put back.  An awesome move by Miller
despite good D by Blackman and he hits the jumper.  Illegal Don
Ind - their second.  40-28 Ind.  Starks misses, loose ball,
Starks hits just inside the 3 pt line.  Smits hits a long jumper. 
42-30 Ind 5:47.  Starks nails another basket.  Smits again with
the short jump hook.  An offensive foul on Oakley.  A T on
Rivers.  Miller gets the one point gift.  Flemming for 3.  The
Pacers hit from the outside.  A nice acting job by Starks gives
Smits a foul.  An open Starks cans the 2.  Rivers' shot is
blocked, a scramble for the ball, a foul on Smits - TV goes
static.  More static.  Finally back. - Starks misses, NY
rebounds, Rivers misses, NY offensive rebound, Mason is fouled
under the basket.  48-36 Ind 2:58.  Mason misses both.  Another
illegal D on NY.  A steal by Rivers and a jam by Mason.  49-38
Ind 1:58.  Ind misses, Mason misses, Schrempf drives and lays it
in.  Miller fakes, passes to an open Schrempf who makes it.  H
Williams gets the tap in.  A clear out for Schrempf who drives
and lays it in.  Rivers to the hole for 2.  Pacers hold for the
final shot.  Schrempf misses.  End of half.  55-44 Ind.

3rd Quarter:
Again the teams start the quarter with misses and turnovers.  A
put back by D Davis for the first points of the quarter.  Smits
hits the short jumper.  A power move by Ewing doesn't fall, they
play volleyball under the net, and NY loses it out of bounds. 
Ewing hits for 2.  Starks to a breaking Ewing with on one in
front of him for the slam.  59-48 Ind 8:38.  Teams trade a couple
of baskets.  Flemming airballs.  Starks cans the shot off a
screen.  Smits travels, not called, and dishes to D Davis for the
jam.  Mason with the power slam.  Ind turnover.  Mason hits the
short jumper.  65-58 Ind 5:28.  Smits loses it out of bounds. 
Mason turns it over.  Miller misses badly.  The teams trade
possessions.  Starks to Mason and an easy 2.  Timeout Ind.  65-60
Ind 4:08.  Ind misses.  Starks passes to Ewing for the dunk. 
Pick and roll gives Schrempf 2.  Rivers nails the outside jumper. 
Miller misses the 3 and D Davis knocks it out of bounds.  Ewing
is fouled under the basket.  1 of 2.  67-65 Ind 2:07.  Smits
misses.  Offensive foul on Ewing - his 4th.  Foul on Mason. 
Miller makes both free throws.  Nice play by NY ends with 2 by
Starks under the basket.  Smits turns and lays it up and in and
is fouled.  55 sec 71-67 Ind.  Smits makes the extra.  Rivers'
head and Miller's knee collide.  Both in pain, but still playing. 
Oakley 2 of 2 at the line.  Oakley steals, Rivers passes to a
breaking Mason for the easy 2.  End quarter.  72-71 Ind.

4th Quarter:
Miller is sitting with ice on his knee.  Oakley is fouled going
for the rebound and makes the freebies.  73-72 NY.  Smits with an
offensive rebound and powers it in.  Starks buries the 3.  Smits
hits a banker.  Blackman misses.  Richardson loses the ball with
the double team.  Starks hits another 3.  79-76 NY 9:06. 
Schrempf misses.  Blackman hits the outside jumper - they give
him the 3.  Wow - Blackman got a T - only the second in his
career, I believe.  Nice pass from Starks to an open Oakley. 
Miller cans a 3.  80-84 NY.  Starks misses the outside jumper. 
Smits double dribbles.  Blackman misses, but gets the rebound. 
NY turnover.  Ind misses, Oakley rebounds.  Rivers 2 of 2 at the
line.  80-86 NY 5:32.  McCloud is fouled driving.  Only 1 of 2. 
Good D by Ind, but NY gets a new 24 off a kick ball.  Starks is
fouled and makes 1 of 2.  Mason is called for over-the-back
sending D Davis to the line.  He makes 1 of 2.  Rivers is fouled
going for a rebound.  2 of 2.  82-89 NY 4:49.  Ewing hits the
long jumper.  Mitchell hits a jumper.  Ewing hits a lean in from
behind the basket.  The crowd chants MVP.  Ind turnover, a
breaking Starks is fouled to prevent the easy 2.  Makes both. 
84-89 NY 3:18.  Starks gets his 5th foul.  Miller 1 of 2.  Ewing
is fouled driving with the shot clock running out.  He misses
both.  D Davis gets the offensive rebound and passes to Smits
under the basket for 2.  NY responds with 2 of their own under
the basket.  Smits travels.  Under 2 min.  Ewing misses.  Starks
has a strong block of a driving McCloud shot.  NY misses.  Under
a minute.  McCloud is fouled and misses both.  87-97 NY 56.1 sec. 
Starks 2 of 2.  Smits with the short jumper.  Mason 1 of 2. 
Ewing gets his 6th foul under the Knicks basket.  42 sec NY by
11.  Smits 1 of 2.  Starks 1 of 2.  What was an exciting game
ends boringly with the trading of free throws.  Smits 1 of 2.
