[This is from what I saw and the notes I took. Please excuse spelling, grammatical, and typing errors. Times listed indicates time _left_ in the quarter, half, game and/or overtime and the team listed after the score is always the team that is ahead. A brick is a short shot that hits the part of the rim closest to the shooter. To save time and typing, I only list players by their last names. Final: Chicago Bulls 104, New York Knicks 102. Player of the game: Toni Kukoc with 8 points, including the game winner, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. New York leads the series 2-1. *The brawl II: Okay, English and Harper are behind the 3 point line. They are jawing at each other and get in each other's face (possible small head butt). English pushes Harper away, Harper pushes back and goes at English, Harper takes a swing at English and wraps him up. They wrestle and Harper throws English to the ground next to the court side seats. Players try to pull other players away from the pile up. You can see English's elbow going back several times as if he is throwing punches, another angle shows that they are punches. Besides that, a lot of pushing and talking but not much else. English continues jawing (this time with Ewing) after he is separated. One of the security guys is pushing around Starks who is slightly away from the clutter. They eventually get everyone back to their own benches. What I see as the out come: some fines for players who left the bench; definite one, possible 2 game suspension for Harper; and definite one game suspension for English. The severity for Harper and English will depend on how much of a statement the league wants to make. (It doesn't help that commissioner Stern was only 4 rows back from the pile up.) Other post game news: Pippen was royally upset that Jackson called the last shot play for Kukoc. [My summary, not their exact words] So upset that when Jackson called the play, Pippen verbalized his displeasure, Jackson said that it was the play they were running, Pippen said if that was the case then he didn't want to be on the court, so Jackson left him on the bench. Jackson did not have a "happy camper" look on his face as he was walking off the court after Kukoc's game winner. This was apparently why the second and final timeout was called. It doesn't seem that the players and coaches will be celebrating this win too much due to the other problems. Pippen mentioned that he felt that Kukoc did not screen probably or help out when the 24 second violation occurred near the end of the game. patricia
