1990  Traded the rights to Washington's 1st round draft pick and Detroit's 
      1st round draft pick in 1991 to Denver for Fat Lever.

1996  Traded the #6 pick of the 1996 draft and a 1st round draft pick
      in 1997 (no protection) to Boston for Eric Montross and the #9 pick
      of the 1996 draft.

2001  Shawn Bradley underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to
      repair torn cartilage.

2002  Extended qualifying offers to Raef LaFrentz, Wang Zhizhi, and
      Eduardo Najera, making all 3 restricted free agents.  Dallas would
      later re-sign LaFrentz and Najera.  Wang would eventually sign with
      the LA Clippers.

2011  Toronto named Dwane Casey as head coach.  Casey had been an
      assistant coach with Dallas since 08-09.

2016  Dirk Nowitzki elected to opt-out of his contract and became a free
      agent.  He would be re-signed on 7/27/16.
