1992  Signed Donald Hodge to a 4 year contract.

2000  The NBA fined Dallas $50,000 for violating league rules regarding
      the tryouts of draft prospects.  The Mavs had prospects participate
      in 5-on-5 scrimmage.  League rules do not allow teams to have more
      than 4 prospects on the court at the same time and prospects can not
      compete against veterans.

2000  Signed 1st round draft pick Etan Thomas to a 3 year, $4,479,120
      contract with a 4th year at the team's option worth $2,200,942.

2000  Signed 2nd round draft pick Edurado Najera to a 1 year, minimum
      contract with a 2nd year at the team's option.

2004  Morlon Wiley agreed to become an assistant coach for Orlando.  
      Wiley had been a development coach for the past several years.  

2014  Named Jamahl Mosley as an assistant coach.

2015  The NBA fined Dallas owner Mark Cuban $25,000 for publicly 
      commenting about LA Clippers free agent DeAndre Jordan.  Although
      teams are permitted to negotiate with free agents during the July
      Moratorium, they can not publicly talk about free agents. 

2015  Reached a 1 year, minimum contract agreement to re-sign Charlie 
      Villanueva.  The agreement could not be formally signed until the
      July Moratorium ended on 7/9/15 and would be signed on 8/4/15.

2016  Traded Jeremy Evans, the rights to 2009 2nd round draft pick (#57) 
      Emir Preldzic, and cash to Indiana for the rights to 2007 draft 
      pick (#39) Stanko Barac. 

2016  Traded a future 2nd round draft pick to Golden State for Andrew 
      Bogut and a future 2nd round draft pick.

2016  Golden State renounced their rights to restricted free agent 
      Harrison Barnes, whom Dallas had signed to a 4 year, $95 million 
      contract on 7/6/17.  Thus Barnes officially was signed by Dallas.
