1997  Re-signed Erick Strickland to a 6 year, $14.4 million contract
      with a player opt-out clause after the 4th season.

1997  Formally renounced their rights to Sasha Danilovic.  Danilovic
      had signed with Buckler Bologna of the Italian League on 6/1/97.

2003  Traded Nick Van Exel, Avery Johnson, Evan Eschmeyer, (a re-signed)
      Popeye Jones, and Antoine Rigadeau to Golden State for Antawn 
      Jamison, Danny Fortson, Jiri Welsch, and Chris Mills.

2005  Todd Wagner bought a minority share of the Mavericks.

2010  Re-signed Tim Thomas to a 1 year, minimum contract.  Thomas later
      changed his mind and decided to remain with his family (his wife
      was seriously ill) and not play in 2010-11 and Dallas released 
      him 9/30/10.
