1997  Ted Davis resigned as the Mavs radio announcer.

2001  Canada defeated Puerto Rico 102-95 in the Tournament of the
      Americas to win the Bronze medal. Steve Nash had 22 points, 5
      rebounds, and 11 assists in the game.

2005  Named Rolando Blackman and Joe Prunty as assistant coaches.

2005  Named Mark Followill as the TV play-by-play man and Chuck
      Cooperstein as the radio play-by-play man.  Followill was the 
      radio play-by-play man and replaced Matt Pinto, who left Dallas
      to join the LA Clippers as their radio play-by-play man.  Pinto
      had joined Dallas (as the radio play-by-play man then) in 1997.
