2002  Spain defeated USA 81-75 in the 5th place game of the World
      Championship tournament. Raef LaFrentz was the high scorer for USA
      with 13 points and had 7 rebounds in 23 minutes.  Michael Finley had
      9 points and 4 rebounds in 25 minutes.  USA finished the tournament
      in 6th place. 

2012  Former Dallas head coach Don Nelson was enshrined to the Basketball
      Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2012.
