The good news is that Robert Pack's surgery on his broken finger to insert
pins and a plate was successful.  The bad news is that the time he will be
out is now estimated at 6 to 8 weeks (originally reported as one month).

Erick Strickland's ankle is improving a lot faster than expected and there
is a slight chance he will be ready for the season opener.

For the game, Phoenix was up 69-64 with less than 8 minutes left when they
went on a 12-0 run to go up 81-64 with 4:15 left.
