Sasha Danilovic formally opt-out of his contract as expected and signed a
contract with Buckler Bologna of the Italian League.  Danilovic leaving
frees up about $680,000 under the cap for the Mavs, who will probably use
that money to re-sign free agent Erick Strickland.

The Mavs set about 400 items (shirts, hats, Mavs-related stuff) to the 
residents of Jarrell, Texas.  Jarrell was recently hit by a devastating
tornado.

For the first time since 1980, the Mavs will not be hosting a draft party.
