2012-13 Mavs Injuries

4/14 Brandan Wright suffered a cut on his left cheek that required
     3 stitches during halftime of the New Orleans game, but he was 
     able to play in the 2nd half.
4/14 Elton Brand (sore right calf) did not play in the New Orleans
     game.
4/10 Elton Brand (sore right calf) did not play in the Phoenix, 
     Portland, Sacramento, or Denver games.
4/7 Dirk Nowitzki did not play in the 4th quarter of the Portland
    game due to a sore ankle.
3/30 O.J. Mayo underwent an MRI that revealed a sprained left 
     shoulder.  Despite the injury, he did play in the Chicago game.
3/22 Shawn Marion returned to action after missing the previous 8
     games with a strained left calf.
3/20 Dallas activated Shawn Marion and placed Rodrigue Beaubois on
     IL.  Marion remains out with a strained left calf.  Beaubois 
     underwent surgery on his left hand to repair a broken bone.
3/18 Rodrigue Beaubois (broken bone left hand) did not play in the
     Atlanta game.
3/17 Rodrigue Beaubois suffered a broken bone in his left hand during 
     the 2nd quarter of the Oklahoma City game.
3/15 Shawn Marion underwent an MRI that showed he had a strained
     left calf.
3/14 Dallas placed Shawn Marion (bruised left calf) on IL.
3/12 Dallas activated Shawn Marion (but he remained out with his
     bruised left calf).
3/12 Jared Cunningham has missed the last 7 NBADL games with
     tendinitis in his right knee.  Cunningham decided that he
     would rest his knee the rest of the season and not play in
     anymore NBADL games.
3/8 Dallas activated Anthony Morrow and placed Shawn Marion
    (bruised left calf) on IL.
3/1 Dallas activated Dominique Jones and placed Anthony Morrow (hip
    pointer) on IL.
2/4 Vince Carter did not play in the Oklahoma City game due to being
    ill.
2/1 Dirk Nowitzki (strained right adductor) did not play in the
    Phoenix or Golden State games.
1/29 Dallas activated Dominique Jones and placed Chris Kaman
     (concussion) on IL.  Kaman suffered a concussion during 
     Monday's practice.
12/21 Darren Collison (ill) did not play in the 2nd half of the 
      Memphis game.
12/21 Elton Brand (strained right groin) did not play in the Memphis 
      game.
12/21 Dallas placed Derek Fisher (strained right knee) on IL.
12/20 Elton Brand (strained right groin), Derek Fisher (strained
      right knee), and Brandan Wright (sprained right ankle) did not 
      play in the Miami game.
12/18 Derek Fisher left the Philadelphia game midway through the
      1st quarter with a strained right knee and did not return.
12/18 Elton Brand (strained right groin) did not play in the
      Philadelphia game.
12/14 Jae Crowder (ill) did not play in the Toronto game.
12/12 Jae Crowder (ill) did not play in the Boston game.
12/10 Dominique Jones (ill) did not play in the Sacrameto game.
12/8 Dallas activated Rodrigue Beaubois and placed Shawn Marion
     (strained right groin) on IL.
12/6 Shawn Marion left the Phoenix game during the 3rd quarter with
     a right groin strain and did not return.  Chris Kaman left the 
     Phoenix game midway through the 4th quarter with a sprained 
     left ankle and did not return.
11/28 Dallas activated Jared Cunningham and placed Darren Collison
      (sprained right middle finger) on IL.
11/21 Troy Murphy did not play in the 2nd half of the New York game
      due to an upper respiratory illness.
11/7 Dallas activated Rodrigue Beaubois and placed Shawn Marion
     (sprained left MCL) on IL.
11/6 Shawn Marion is expected to be out at least a week with a 
     sprained left knee.
11/5 Shawn Marion suffered a strained left knee during the 3rd
     quarter and did not return.
11/5 TV broadcaster Mark Followill remained out for the Portland
     game due to his injuries from a bicycle accident.
11/3 Dallas activated Chris Kaman and placed Rodrigue Beaubois 
     (sprained ankle) on IL.
11/3 Mavs TV broadcaster Mark Followill missed the Charlotte game due
     to being injured in a bike accident earlier on Saturday.
10/24 Brandan Wright suffered a sprained left ankle in the 3rd
      quarter of the Oklahoma City game and did not return.
10/24 Dirk Nowitzki (right knee surgery), Chris Kaman (strained
      right calf), Shawn Marion (rest), and Vince Carter (rest) did 
      not play in the Oklahoma City game.
10/22 Dirk Nowitzki (right knee surgery) and Chris Kaman (strained
      right calf) did not play in the New Orleans game.
10/20 Dirk Nowitzki (right knee surgery) and Chris Kaman (strained
      right calf) did not play in the Atlanta game.
10/19 Dirk Nowitzki underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee 
      and is expected to be out 6 weeks.
10/17 Dirk Nowitzki (sore right knee) and Rodrigue Beaubois
      (sprained left ankle) did not play in the Phoenix game.
10/15 Dirk Nowitzki (sore right knee) and Rodrigue Beaubois
      (sprained left ankle) did not play in the Houston game.
10/10 Dirk Nowitzki had his right knee drained.  The team hopes
10/9 Dirk Nowitzki (swollen right knee) and Rodrigue Beaubois
     (sprained left ankle) did not play in the Barcelona game.
10/6 Roddy Beaubois suffered a sprained left ankle late in the 3rd
     quarter of the Berlin game and did not return.
10/6 Brandan Wright (strained quad) did not play in the Berlin game.
10/5 Chris Kaman and Brandan Wright participated in practice.
10/2 Chris Kaman (sprained lower back) and Brandan Wright (strained
     quad muscle) missed Tuesday's practices.
10/1 Chris Kaman (sprained lower back) and Brandan Wright (strained
     quad muscle) missed Monday's practices.
9/30 Brandan Wright left Sunday's practice with a strained quad
     muscle (it is not considered a serious injury).  Chris Kaman 
     missed the two practices with a sprained lower back.
9/29 Chris Kaman left Saturday's practice with a lower back injury.
     The injury is not considered serious.
