The NBA named Allen Iverson (Phi) as Player of the Week.  Iverson averaged
38.7 points as Philadelphia went 3-0.

Rick Pitino resigned as coach and president of Boston.  Jim O'Brien was
named as interim coach.

Golden State activated Chris Mullin and placed Erick Dampier on IR due to
arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

Golden State signed John Coker to a 10-day contract.
