The NBA named Stephon Marbury (NJ) as Player of the Week.  Marbury
averaged 34.7 points and 9 assists as New Jersey went 2-1.

The NBA fined Antoine Walker (Bos) $2,500 for verbally abusing a ref after
the Bos-Phi game on Saturday.
