An arbitrator ruled that the LA Clippers owe Rodney Rogers $716,464 for
improperly fining him for being overweight at the beginning of the 98-99
season.  Rogers is now with Phoenix.

Popeye Jones (Was) underwent surgery to repair his broken left index
finger.  He will be out at least 2 months.
