News from December 4.

The NBA named Karl Malone (Uta) as Player of the Month for November.
Malone averaged 23.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists and Utah went
12-3.

The NBA named Larry Brown (Phi) as Coach of the Month for November.
Philadelphia went 12-2.

The NBA named Kenyon Martin (NJ) as Rookie of the Month for November.
Martin averaged 11.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks.

The NBA named Antonio McDyess (Den) as Player of the Week.  McDyess
averaged 31.3 points and 14.3 rebounds as Denver went 2-1.

Washington activated Laron Profit and placed Mitch Richmond on IR with a
partially torn MCL in his left knee.  Richmond will be out a month.
