The NBA named Derek Anderson (SA) as Player of the Week.  Anderson averaged
22.3 points and 6.3 rebounds as San Antonio went 4-0.

Atlanta activated Matt Maloney and released Pepe Sanchez.

Charlotte placed Eldridge Recasner on IR with back spasms.

Sacramento activated Jon Barry and placed Jabari Smith on IR with right
knee tendinitis.

Miami coach Pat Riley sent Anthony Mason and Duane Causwell back to Miami
for being late to a pre-game meeting before Monday's Mia-Min game.  Said
Riley: "The goal of the meeting was to get their attention."
