The NBA fined Greg Foster (LAL) $5,000 for verbally abusing the ref and
failing to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection
during Sunday's LAL-GS game and fined Marc Jackson (GS) $2,500 for his
involvement in the altercation.

Portland retired Clyde Drexler's #22.

Eddie Jones (Mia) will miss several weeks with a separated left shoulder.
The injury occurred during Monday's Mia-Det game.

New York activated Felton Spencer and placed Luc Longley on IR with a sore
back and left ankle sprain.

Washington signed David Vanterpool to a 10-day contract and placed Chris 
Whitney on IR with a sprained left ankle.
