Dave Checketts resigned as president and CEO of Madison Square Garden,
which oversees the New York Knicks among other local teams.

Ruben Patterson (Sea) reached a plea agreement to an attempted rape charge
and was sentence to a year in jail with all but 15 days suspended, fined 
$5,000, and sentenced to 2 years probation.
