Dikembe Mutombo (Phi) won the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award.  The
award is presented by the Professional Basketball Writers Association.

Derek Anderson (SA) suffered a 3rd degree separated shoulder and will be
out 3 to 6 weeks.

Tayshaun Prince (junior, Kentucky, forward) and Keith Bogans (sophomore,
Kentucky, guard) declared themselves eligible for the NBA draft.
