News from July 12.

Free agent Tracy McGrady (Tor) announced that he has decided to sign 
with Orlando.  Teams could start negotiating with free agents July 1, 
but can not actually sign free agents until August 1.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim (Van) was named to replace Grant Hill (Det) for the
2000 USA Men's Basketball Olympic Team.  The team will compete in this
summer's Olympics September 15 - October 1 in Sydney, Australia.  Hill
is recovering from a broken left ankle.
