The LA Clippers named John Hammond, Dennis Johnson, and Rex Kalamian as
assistant coaches.  Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was not asked to return as an
assistant.

Washington signed 2nd round draft pick (#35) Mike Smith to a 1 year
