News from January 17.

The Charlotte Hornets filed with the league a request to move the team to
New Orleans.  The league Board of Governors must approve the move, which
would occur over the summer.

Houston activated Dan Langhi and placed Walt Williams on IR with a 
sprained right ankle.

New Jersey signed Donny Marshall and Anthony Johnson to 2nd 10-day
contracts.
