News from November 12.

The NBA named Tim Duncan (SA) and Vince Carter (Tor) as Players of the
Week.  Duncan averaged 26.3 points and 14.3 rebounds as San Antonio went
3-0.  Carter averaged 34.7 points including 16-29 3-pointers, 7 rebounds,
and 5 assists and Toronto went 2-1.  [In a change from previous seasons, the
league is naming a Player of the Week for each conference.]

Karl Malone (Uta) had 29 points including 9-12 FT and 9 rebounds.
Greg Ostertag (Uta) had 14 points including 6-10 FT, 12 rebounds, and 8
blocks.
Andrei Kirlenko (Uta) had 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
Darrell Armstrong (Orl) had 18 points.
Tracy McGrady (Orl) had 17 points including 5-18 FG, 7 rebounds, and 6
assists.
Uta shot 48.1% (37-77) FG and Orl shot 36.6% (34-93) FG.

Danny Fortson (GS) had 20 points, 22 rebounds including 8 offensive, and 9
turnovers.
Bob Sura (GS) had 12 points including 4-11 FG.
Chris Mills (GS) had 17 points.
Lorenzen Wright (Mem) had 19 points and 15 rebounds.
Jason Williams (Mem) had 13 points on 4-15 FG and 4-8 FT, 5 rebounds, and 
10 assists.
