The NBA named Elton Brand (LAC) and Andre Miller (Cle) as Players of the
Week.  Brand averaged 23.3 points and 15.3 rebounds as the Clippers went 
2-1.  Miller averaged 18 points, 11.3 assists, and 6.3 rebounds as 
Cleveland went 2-1.
 
Philadelphia activated Eric Snow and placed Speedy Claxton on IR with a
sprained left ankle.
 
New York named assistant coach Don Chaney as head coach for the rest of the
season.
