Toronto assistant Stan Albeck is in stable condition, but is paralyzed on
the right side and having trouble speaking.  Albeck, 70 years old,
suffered a stroke on Sunday.  His condition is not considered life
threatening.

The LA Lakers activated Jelani McCoy and placed Shaquille O'Neal on IR
with a sore right big toe.

Richard Hamilton (Was) could be out 3 to 4 weeks with a partial tear of
his right groin.
