The NBA named Karl Malone (Uta) and Andre Miller (Cle) as Players of the
Week.  Malone averaged 27.5 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists as Utah
went 4-0.  Miller averaged 22.3 points, 17.0 assists, and 7.3 rebounds as 
Cleveland went 3-0.

The NBA suspended Clifford Robinson (Det) for 1 game for his guilty plea
for driving under the influence.

TRADE: Indiana traded Jalen Rose, Travis Best, Norm Richardson, and a 
conditional 2nd round draft pick to Chicago for Ron Mercer, Ron Artest, 
Brad Miller, and Kevin Ollie.
 
Boston activated Kedrick Brown and placed Joseph Forte on IR with a 
sprained left ankle.

The LA Lakers activated Shaquille O'Neal and placed Samaki Walker on IR
with a huperextended right elbow.
