The NBA suspended Shawn Kemp (Por) for violating the league's anti-drug
program.  Kemp is suspended until he has "resumed full compliance with his 
treatment program."

The LA Clippers placed Corey Maggette on IR with dislocated ring and
little fingers on his right hand.  Maggette suffered the injury when he
pounded the scorer's table in frustration.

Toronto activated Jerome Williams and placed Mamadou N'diaye on IR with
right foot plantar fasciaitis.

New Jersey activated Donny Marshall and placed Todd MacCulloch on IR with
plantar fasciaitis in his left foot.

Seattle placed Vin Baker on IR with dislocated toes on his left foot.

Phoenix activated Alton Ford.
