News from March 12.

USA Basketball named Raef LaFrentz (Dal), Andre Miller (Cle), and Paul
Pierce (Bos) to Team USA.  Jason Williams (Duke) was named as an
alternative.  The 3 joined Michael Finley (Dal), Ray Allen (Mil), Antonio
Davis (Tor), Jason Kidd (NJ), Shawn Marion (Pho), Reggie Miller (Ind),
and Jermaine O'Neal (Ind) as players named to the team.  2 more players 
and 1 alternative player will be named at a later date.  Team USA will
competed in this summer's World Championship games in Indianapolis.

Orlando signed Dee Brown to a 10-day contract.

Houston activated Oscar Torres and placed Kevin Willis on IR with a
sprained left wrist.
