News from March 2.

The NBA named Jason Richardson (GS) and Trenton Hassell (Chi) as Rookies
of the Month for February.  Richardson averaged 19.3 points and 4.5
rebounds.  Hassell averaged 10.9 points and 4.5 rebounds.

The NBA fined Kobe Bryant (LAL) $12,500 and suspended him for 2 games and
fined Reggie Miller (Ind) $10,000 and suspended him for 2 games for their
fight following Friday's Ind-LAL game.

The NBA fined Bruce Bowen (SA) $7,500 and assessed him a flagrant foul for
his flying kick that hit Wally Szczerbiak (Min) in the face during Friday's
SA-Min game.

Houston activated Walt Williams and placed Oscar Torres on IR with a right
ankle sprain.

Dion Glover (Atl) will miss the rest of the season with a mild stress
fracture in his right foot.
