The NBA fined Doc Rivers (Orl) $7,500 for failing to leave the court in a
timely manner and comments made to the media following his ejection in
Tuesday's Orl-Ind game.

Atlanta signed Leon Smith for the rest of the season.  Atlanta received an
injury exception to carry an extra player as the team already has the
maximum 3 players on IR and Dion Glover is out for the season with a
stress fracture in his right foot.
