News from May 10.

The NBA Board of Governors formally approved the move of the Charlotte
Hornets to New Orleans.  The move will take place over the summer.

Predrag Stojakovic (Sac) is not expected to play in today's Dal-Sac game
due to a severely sprained right ankle.  He is doubtful for the rest of
the series due to the injury.

Jamal Mashburn (Cha) is not expected to play in Sunday's Cha-NJ game due
to vertigo.

Chris Jeffersen (junior, Fresno State, forward) declared himself eligible
for the NBA draft.  Underclassmen have until Sunday (May 12) to declared 
themselves eligible for the draft.

Shaquille O'Neal (LAL) had 22 points and 15 rebounds.
Derek Fisher (LAL) had 13 points and 6 rebounds.
Kobe Bryant (LAL) had 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Tim Duncan (SA) had 28 points on 9-26 FG and 9-10 FT and 12 rebounds.
Tony Parker (SA) had 24 points and 5 assists.
LAL leads the series 2-1.

Bos 66, Det 64 - at Bos
Antoine Walker (Bos) had 16 points and 8 rebounds.
Kenny Anderson (Bos) had 17 points and 5 rebounds.
Paul Pierce (Bos) had 19 points including 7-23 FG and 1-7 3-pointers, 5
rebounds, and 5 assists.
Ben Wallace (Det) had 12 points including 5-6 FG, 21 rebounds, and 3
steals.
Jerry Stackhouse (Det) had 19 points and 6 rebounds.
Bos shot 10-12 FT and Det shot 14-21 FT.
The combined 130 points was the lowest point total since the inception of
the shot clock, shattering the previous record of 142 points.
Vitaly Potapenko (Bos, left ACL tear) and Zeljko Rebraca (Det, broken
right hand) did not play.
Bos leads the series 2-1.
