Alonzo Mourning (Mia) won the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award.  The
award is presented by the Professional Basketball Writers Association to a
player or coach for exemplary community service.

The NBA relocation committee unanimously supported the moved of the
Charlotte Hornets to New Orleans.  The NBA Board of Directors will vote on
the move on May 10.  15 owners must approve the move for the team to be
allowed to move.

David Robinson (SA, sore lower back) and Tim Duncan (SA, death of father)
are expected to play in tonight's SA-Sea game.

Keith Van Horn (NJ) had 27 points including 5-8 3-pointers and 6 rebounds.
Kenyon Martin (NJ) had 29 points and 8 rebounds in 56 minutes.
Jason Kidd (NJ) had 31 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals in 51
minutes.
Jermaine O'Neal (Ind) had 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Brad Miller (Ind) had 14 points and 17 rebounds.
Reggie Miller (Ind) had 31 points including 6-14 3-pointers [and a
line-drive banked 3-pointer at the buzzer (or maybe a fraction too late)
that sent the game into the 1st overtime].
Ron Mercer (Ind) had 20 points on 10-16 FG.
New Jersey takes the series 3-2 and advances to the 2nd round where they 
will face Charlotte.

Ben Wallace (Det) had 6 points on 1-4 FG and 4-10 FT, 17 rebounds, 3
steals, and 5 turnovers.
Clifford Robinson (Det) had 13 points and 5 rebounds.
Chucky Atkins (Det) had 14 points including 6-17 FG.
Corliss Williamson (Det) had 23 points including 10-15 FG.
Keon Clark (Tor) had 15 points including 5-7 FG and 6 rebounds.
Chris Childs (Tor) had 16 points including 3-4 3-pointers and 6 assists.
Dell Curry (Tor) had 17 points including 3-3 3-pointers.
Eric Montross (Tor, stress fracture left foot) did not play.
Detroit takes the series 3-2 and advances to the 2nd round where they will
face the winner of the Bos-Phi series.
