The Basketball Hall of Fame announced the inductees for 2002.  They are:
 Players
   Magic Johnson    played with the LA Lakers 79-80 - 90-91 and 94-95; won 
                    5 NBA championships; named MVP 1987, 1989, and 1990;
                    named Finals MVP 1980 and 1982
   Drazen Petrovic  Yugoslavia/Croatia superstar, scored 112 points in
                    84-85 Croatian League game, played 4 season in the NBA
 Coaches
   Larry Brown      29 years coaching in NCAA, NBA, and ABA; won NCAA
                    championship in 1988 with Kansas; over 1,000 coaching 
                    wins in NBA and ABA
   Lute Olsen       739-246 record in 29 years college coaching, won 1997
                    NCAA championship with Arizona
   Kay Yow          32 years coaching including 27 years with North
                    Carolina State, 625 career wins
 Contributors
   Harlem Globetrotters  been entertaining and spreading basketball around
                         the world since 1927, 20,878-335 record

The enshrinement ceremonies will occur in September 27.
