The NBA Board of Governors approved the move of the Vancouver Grizzlies to
Memphis.  This was the final step to make the move official and they are
now the Memphis Grizzlies [until they change the team name].

Tyrone Hill (Phi) elected not to opt-out of his contract.

Charlotte fired assistant coach Jerry Eaves.

Derek Fisher (LAL) underwent surgery on his fracture right foot and will 
be out 4 months.

Mark Madsen (LAL) underwent surgery on his left wrist to repair a torn
ligament and will be out 4 to 6 months.
