Golden State signed 1st round draft pick (#5) Jason Richardson to a 3
year, $7,822,080 contract with a 4th year worth $3,534,018 at the team's
option.

Golden State signed 1st round draft pick (#14) Troy Murphy to a 3 year, 
$4,226,040 contract with a 4th year worth $2,231,808 at the team's
option.

Golden State signed 2nd round draft pick (#31) Gilbert Arenas.

Miami signed rookie free agent Tang Hamilton.

Calvin Booth (Sea) was named to replaced Mark Madsen (LAL) on Team USA 
for the 2001 Goodwill Games.  Madsen underwent surgery on his left wrist
