Chicago signed Kevin Ollie to a 1 year, guaranteed contract.

Golden State signed Dean Oliver.

The LA Lakers re-signed Mike Penberthy to a 1 year, partially guaranteed
contract.

The Lakers will play Golden State 9/7 and 9/9 in pre-season games in
Honolulu.  Those games will replace the 2 cancelled Tokyo games.  The
Lakers have their training camp in Honolulu.

Miami signed Rodney Buford.

Indiana signed 2nd round draft pick (#41) Jamison Brewer to a 2 year
contract and signed William Cunningham and Norman Richardson to 1 year

Washington signed 2nd round draft pick (#42) Bobby Simmons to a 1 year
contract July 27.  [thanks to Jed Tai]

Training camp opens next Tuesday (October 2) [a couple of teams that were
scheduled to play games outside of the US and Canada will open training
camp Sunday]!  As such, teams will start to signed players (many of whom 
you probably have never heard of) to fill out their training camp rosters.
Most of those players will be signed to 1 year, non-guaranteed contracts 
and will be cut before the regular season starts October 30.
