TRADE: Dallas traded the rights to 2nd round draft pick (#54) Kenny
Satterfield to Denver for a future 2nd round pick or future
considerations.

Washington signed Michael Jordan to a 2 year contract.  Per NBA rules,
Jordan first had to sell his shares in the Wizards and resign as president
of basketball operations of the Wizards.

Allen Iverson (Phi) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow to 
have bone spurs removed.  He is expected to be out 4 to 6 weeks.

Aaron McKie (Phi) underwent arthroscopic surgery on right shoulder to have a
small tear repaired.  He is expected to be out 6 to 8 weeks.

New York released Luc Longley.  Longley also announced his retirement from
the NBA.  Longley said that he has an arthritic condition in his left 
ankle that forced his retirement.  New York and Longley reached a medical
buyout of the remaining 3 years left on Longley's contract.
