Maurice Taylor (Hou) suffered an Achilles injury during a pickup game.
The Achilles was diagnosed as torn by doctors in Detroit and Houston
doctors will evaluate the injury today.  If it is torn, Taylor could miss
the entire season.

Sean Elliott (SA) has signed a 2 year TV contract to be the play-by-play
announcer for the Spurs.  The contract does have an out that allows
Elliott to leave to play basketball.
