The NBA named Kobe Bryant (LAL), Stephon Marbury (Pho), and Jermaine
O'Neal (Ind) as Players of the Week.  Bryant averaged 34 points, 5.3
rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals as the LA Lakers went 3-0.  Marbury 
averaged 28 points and 9 assists as Phoenix went 3-1.  O'Neal averaged 
19.3 points and 9.3 rebounds as Indiana went 4-0.

Houston activated Jason Collier and placed Glen Rice on IR with a left
shoulder strain.

Toronto signed Damone Brown to a 10-day contract.
