News from January 21.

The NBA named Steve Francis (Hou) and Antoine Walker (Bos) as Players of the
Week.  Francis averaged 29.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 9.3 assists as 
Houston went 3-0.  Walker averaged 24.8 points and 7.8 rebounds as Boston
went 3-1.

The NBA announced that Mike Fratello and Cotton Fitzsimmons will coach in
the Rookie-Sophomore Game.  Bob Pettit and Lou Hudson will be the
assistants.

With last year's coach Don Nelson (Dal) ineligible, Rick Adelman (Sac) 
cliched as coach for the West team in the All-Star game.

Antoine Walker (Bos) is expected to be out up to 2 weeks with a mild
ligament sprain in his right knee.

New Jersey activated Brandon Armstrong and placed Rodney Rogers on IR with
a strained left calf.
