Kevin O'Connor (Uta) and Geoff Petrie (Sac) finished behind Dumars in the voting [they didn't release the voting breakdown]. Hall of Famer Dave DeBusschere died of a heart attack at age 62. DeBusschere played 12 seasons in the NBA with Detroit (62-63 - 68-69) and New York (68-69 - 73-74) and was on New York's 2 championship teams in 1970 and 1973. Sani Ibrahim (freshman, College of Southern Idaho, forward-center) declared himself eligible for the NBA draft.
