John Stockton (Uta) announced his retirement from the NBA.  Stockton has
been in the league for 19 seasons and is the NBA all-time leader in
assists with 15,806 (Magic Johnson is 2nd with 10,141) and steals with 
3,265 (Michael Jordan is 2nd with 2,514).
