News from August 26.

Houston signed Steve Francis to a 6 year, maximum contract extension.  The
exact amount of the extension won't be know until next year's salary cap
is determined and is estimated to be between $80 to $90 million.  Francis
is now signed through 08-09.

Denver named T.R. Dunn as an assistant coach.

Minnesota signed Troy Hudson to a 3 year, $7.4 million contract.  The 3rd
year is at the player's option.

San Antonio signed Kevin Willis to a 1 year, minimum contract.

Toronto exercised their 03-04 option for Morris Peterson.

Lamar Odom (LAC) re-injured his ankle.  The ankle was placed in a cast and
he is could be out up to 12 weeks.

Steven Hunter (Orl) tore a ligament in his right knee.  The knee will
require surgery and he is expected to be out 4 to 6 months.
