TRADE RESCINDED: The trade of Jumaine Jones from Cleveland to Sacramento
for Mateen Cleaves was rescinded as Cleaves failed his physical.  

TRADE: Phoenix traded Milt Palacio to Cleveland for a future 2nd round
draft pick.

Washington named Patrick Ewing as an assistant coach.  Ewing also announced
his retirement from the NBA as a player.

Atlanta signed Darvin Ham to a 1 year contract.

Former NBA player Jim Barnes died Saturday of a heart attack.  He played
7 seasons in the NBA (64-65 - 70-71).  He was 61 years old.
