minor tear in the lateral knee cartilage.

Miami signed Khalid El-Amin.

Utah signed 2001 1st round draft pick Raul Lopez (#24) to a 3 year, 
$2,796,840 with a 4th year worth $1,744,313 at the team's option.

Utah re-signed Scott Padgett to a 1 year contract.

On July 2 Detroit signed 1st round draft pick Tayshaun Prince (#23) to 
a 3 year, $2,913,480 with a 4th year worth $1,763,115 at the team's
